NHS Ealing (PCT) Action Group Meeting Notes - September 2009

We are pleased to publish the notes of the series of Action Group Meetings which took place in September 2009.

The Action Groups are open to any one to join if they feel they can help take the work forward on the priority issues.  On reading this you maybe wondering how you can make a contribution to the work of an Action Group. Well these are some of the activities that will need to be undertaken:-

  • Finding out background information - reading documents or looking on the internet.
  • Sharing your ideas and experiences at meetings, in writing, telephone or email.
  • Speaking to people both the members of the public and professional staff to get their views or key information.
  • Taking and writing up notes at action group meetings.
  • Designing questionnaires.
  • Helping to write up reports.

In Ealing LINk we believe that everyone has an opportunity to have a say and everyone has something to offer. By working together positively people learn, gain satisfaction and influence changes in services.

We hope more LINk Participants will join the Action Groups, which will help to make our LINk dynamic, representative and effective in improving the quality of health and social care services in Ealing.

We also warmly invite you to join us on the 3rd of November 2009 when we will hold the next set of Action Group Meetings. The flyer can be viewed here.
